Cold-pressed Wheat Germ oil (Triticum vulgare) is a soothing nutritive oil for topical application for general skin health. When applied externally, Wheat Germ oil promotes healthy blood circulation and can be helpful in the treatment of dry, cracked skin. As a natural antioxidant, it assists natural skin repair and premature aging associated with sun exposure.

Wheat Germ oil is extracted from the wheat kernel using the cold press method to ensure antioxidant properties are optimally preserved. Because cold-pressed, raw, unrefined extracts degrade quickly when exposed to extremes in temperature fluctuation, oxidization, and light, this product should be refrigerated or stored in a cool, dark place. Wheat Germ oil has a shelf life of 6 months when stored properly.

Wheat Germ oil naturally contains vitamin E, mainly alpha-tocopherol. Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant with a reputation for its skin-rejuvenating properties.

Wheat Germ oil may be considered for the following skin conditions:
