Q. Why does Probiotic Pearls™ contain two strains of probiotics?
A. Acidophilus Pearls™ provides Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum, two probiotic bacteria with the greatest amount of research and clinical support. In fact, over 75 years of published research has shown that beneficial bacteria in general, (and Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium longum in particular) are the most effective in maintaining a healthy balance of intestinal flora every day.*
Q. What is the source of the gelatin in Probiotic Pearls™?
A. The gelatin in Probiotic Pearls™ is derived from fish (tilapia).
Q. Is it okay to take more than the recommended dose of Probiotic Pearls™?
A. Recent research on probiotics has suggested that many people can take daily dosages in amounts far in excess of the 1 billion CFU per day delivered by Probiotic Pearls™. Q. Is the palm oil in Probiotic Pearls™ sustainably harvested?

The fact that Enzymatic Therapy does not purchase wild harvest and strives to cultivate sustainable vendor relationships are two examples of this commitment. We have and continue to implement procedures company-wide to improve our efficiency and in turn, reduce our carbon footprint. Palm oil is an important ingredient in Probiotic Pearls™ and plays an crucial role in the True Delivery™ Technology. Put in perspective, the amount of palm oil found in Probiotic Pearls™ is very small – far less than the amount found in one commercially manufactured cookie. The level is insignificant and when compared to other uses of palm oil, doesn’t have a substantial impact on the palm oil supply and subsequently on deforestation.
