A vaccine for eligible older adults that helps prevent RSV 

(respiratory syncytial virus)

INDICATION

RSV vaccine is indicated for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease caused by respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in people 60 years of age and older.

RSV RISK AND YOU

– RSV is a highly contagious virus that may cause respiratory disease that can make it difficult to breathe, and possibly require hospitalization.
– If you are 60 years or older, have chronic lung or heart disease or have a weakened immune system, you are at greater risk of experiencing more severe symptoms of RSV, such as lung infection or pneumonia.
-If you are 60 years or older and currently healthy, you can still get sick with RSV.*
